It's comfortable, but its not easy getting it fixed just right. And sometimes I wake up and it's off. So if you toss and turn a lot it might not be right for you. What a pity since its light weight and I had hope I could avoid the bulky night splints.Customer Review: Facite

Like another reviewer, I have a very small foot (usually have to shop in the boy's department to get properly fitting shoes and socks.) This splint just doesn't do the trick for me. Yes, I do find it quite comfortable but the downside of that is, it's simply not very effective. The in-front-of-the-shin design and limited straps allows the splint to slide down the calf, thus reducing the amount of stretch. Plus, no matter how tightly I pull the straps, the foot 'sags' within the splint, limiting the stretch and, thus, its effectiveness. In fact, the over-the-foot/shin style actually hinders my ability to manually stretch the top of my foot and toes. This splint basically does everything opposite of what I need it to do. If you have a normal size foot (perhaps a woman's 7 or larger), and you're looking only for a very gentle stretch, you may find this comfortable and effective enough. For those of us with tiny feet and/or those looking for a really good stretch, this probably won't work very well. I'll be getting an under-the-foot version to see if that works better for me. If THAT doesn't work, I'll break out some plaster bandages, Velcro, and sturdy cloth and make my own night splint.Customer Review: Works wonders... but can't wear all night yet

As an avid runner, having plantar fasciitis puts a serious cramp in my style. I can only wear the brace for a few hours at a time as my toes get numb, but I'm hoping I'll be able to wear it longer as time passes.
I noticed a difference after only one wearing. The brace is more comfortable than expected and doesn't impede my midnight hobble to the ladies room. I would definitely purchase again and recommend it. It may not be a miracle cure, but any improvement for this stubborn problem was very welcome.

i was using the prostretch before & after bed for a couple months with minimal improvement. so i bought this thing @ cvs on sale. i wear it at night and hobble with it to the bathroom as needed. i feel much better in the morning and don't have to warm my foot up for the first 1-2 hours of my day. doesn't cut off my circulation and i put it on pretty tight. the only negative i have to say is the velcro waking up my wife, so now i hobble to take it off elsewhere.
