Customer Reviews of Futuro Plantar Fasciitis Sleep SupportCustomer Review: Work Great!!! Give them a shot!! Summary: 5 StarsThese things work wonders...give them a try!!!
I had plantar fasciitis for a little over a year now and it was getting worse and worse. The pain in the morning was terrible. Everyday, I would wake up and my feet would be killing me. On a scale of 1-10 (1 = being mild discomfort and 10 being severe pain/ can't even walk)...my pain in the morning was around an 8..sometimes even a 9. I saw these Futuro night splints on Amazon and saw all of the positive reviews they were getting so I thought I'd give them a try. Well, the reviews are well deserved because these things work wonders. After two days of wearing them to bed (very comfortable and easy to use by the way and easy to walk around in your house), I woke up and for the first time in a year...I had only a mild foot pain. My pain had gone from a 8 to a 2 in a matter of days. It's been a week now and my feet feel great. Just make sure you where them EVERY night for the best results...I went to bed once without them and I regretted it in the monring because, surprise surprise, my feet were killing me again.
The only things I would say is to check a couple CVS stores near you because they sell it.
Also note that only 1 splint comes in each box. I made the mistake of thinking two came in the box but, that's a mistake. So if you've got problems in both feet, make sure you order 2 of them.
Otherwise I can't say enough nice things about this product.
I highly recommend it.
Customer Review: They are okay..... Summary: 2 StarsI tried these for 3 weeks. I noticed that the velcro wore out and wouldn't stick properly at the end of the 3 weeks. If I made them too tight around the foot (so the foot can pull forward), it bothered my neuroma. If I left it too loose, it didnt do much for healing. The one good thing was that it wasn't so bad to walk to the bathroom with them on. Unfortunately, over all I still suffer from plantar fasciitis, so I ordered the "boots".
Customer Review: Really does help relieve overnight Fasciitis pain Summary: 5 StarsI don't submit reviews unless I am really impressed by a product. I have been suffering from acute Plantar Fasciitis for over 2 months that was aggravated by a sports injury. I used to wake up in the morning unable to step on my heel due to the pain. I investigated several braces which were designed for the same purpose. I selected this one because it was the least bulky. It really does help and has significantly reduced the morning pain but you still need to follow up with proper exercise and medical care because this only works on the symptoms caused by overnight shrinking of the membranes. Repeated over-stretching of the fascia, pressure on the bone spur, and constant pressure on the heel during the day contributes to aggravating the condition. Also get the proper orthotics under the care of a specialist for your specific condition.
Customer Review: This really works Summary: 5 StarsI have a reoccurring problem with plantar fasciitis and lately stretching and icing have not been enough. Before visiting my foot doc I decided to try a night splint. The first morning after wearing it I had substantially less pain when I got out of bed. This product was easy to adjust and surprisingly comfortable to sleep in. Would highly recommend to anyone suffering from this problem to give this night splint a try.
Customer Review: The Joy of Being Pain Free Summary: 5 StarsIf you're reading this, you either think you have or have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. One day in early July out of the blue my left heel started to hurt. I've never had foot problems so I didn't think much about it. Two days later I could barely walk. Every step was sheer agony. After some checking on the internet I quickly realized I had the classic symptoms of plantar fasciitis, i.e., the pain would decrease very slightly after walking for awhile (I found out that was because the ligament was being stretched), the pain was always so much worse after driving, and in the morning the first step upon getting out of bed was absolutely excruciating. I followed doctor's orders. I iced it, did all the stretching exercises and rolled my foot around on a frozen soup can. Nothing seemed to help. The doctor never once mentioned using a night splint. I ordered this splint after reading about it in a plantar fasciitis on-line chat room. It completely lived up to its promise. It arrived much sooner than anticipated and after using it for 3 or 4 nights I could walk again without having to hold onto the furniture and wanting to scream out in agony. After using it for about 10 nights I was completely pain free and have been ever since. It simply keeps your foot in the proper position while you sleep so the ligament can heal. It's not uncomfortable at all and never interfered with my getting a good night's sleep. If you've been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, take my advice. Do not hesitate. Do not hobble around in agony for weeks like I did. Order this immediately. I wish I had known about it sooner.
