The product works as advertised. It's fairly easy to put on; slips right over the foot and fastens around the ankle area. The fasteners (both foot and ankle) come off so that you can adjust them as needed. It holds my foot comfortably at about a 90 degree angle, which is good for relieving the pain from plantar fasciitis. However, I don't usually get through a full night with it on because it can be irritating--not a negative reflection on the product--I just don't like sleeping with things on my feet.Customer Review: Perfect for sleeping in

I was told to wear a walking boot 24/7 for 2 weeks to treat both plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis. That creeped me out thinking I would be walking in public restrooms, stores, outside, then put it in my clean bed. Not to mention this boot weighs 5 pounds and is extremely clunky. I purchased this sleep support and I don't even notice that it's on when I'm in bed. It keeps my foot at 90 degrees, my foot stays cool and when I get up in the morning I have no pain. I have this support. It didn't help. I believe that with smaller ladies legs it might be fine, but it cut off circulation and didn't have enough support. If Futuro was going improve it it needs more angle to pull the foot up. The plastic needs to be more stiff, and it needs a heel strap to pull the corner into your ankle better. I tried an ace bandage for a while, but my legs are too strong for the plastic.
The one positive is that it is small and light which makes it cooler at night.

I love wearing these night splints. I have horrible heel pain in both feet and just putting these on resembles how good it felt in the Dr office when he wrapped my feet in tape.
The only thing negative I can say is that the velcro is simply not strong enough. When I sleep and turn, the velcro comes apart at the top under my calf. Thinking of supplementing the velcro with stronger velcro I can buy at the fabric store.
Other than the velcro, I think it's great!

In many ways the product works great, gives your calf a gentle stretch during the night and alleviates symptoms. The problem is the Velcro loses grip within a short time. I had to purchase better Velcro strips and sew them on. Not something you should have to do with a relatively new product. I have tried many of these boots in the past and this pair is one of the lightest and most comfortable, so in-spite of having to repair them, I gave the product 3 stars and still use it daily.
