This was puchased from an independent contractor. The shipping was supposed to be free. Amazon informed me that the product was not available and that my credit card was not charged. Several days later I received an email saying that my item had been shipped. When I checked my credit card bill I was charged $27.00 to ship a $9.99 item that was supposed to ship free. My direct Amazon experience has been great but this was a rip-off.Customer Review: Got it for mom

I cannot comment on the scent, because I purchased it as a gift for my mom. She used it years ago. I thought I'd surprise her.
The shipping was quick, and without problems. If anyone wants to know, the pink box comes wrapped in plastic foil, which is neat when you gift it out.

It's usually hard to find in the local stores or if they have it, it's out of my price range. The price was right, the order arrived in a timely manner in excellent condition. I'm happy. The savings was great also.

On my skin Vanderbilt is pure carnation, mimosa, rose, and other spicy floral notes. When I wear Vanderbilt (to steal a line from West Side Story), "I feel pretty- oh, so pretty!".
