Customer Review: Great Product....TERRIBLE WEBSITE & EXPERIENCE

I'm a Mac user and it said nowhere that it was PC only. Their website looks good but is HORRIBLE. It doesn't work half the time. The idea is brilliant but again, the customer experience is so bad I don't know how long they can stay in business (unless corrected). This morning the server was down and still not up. The armband won't sync to the watch display.
Customer Support is not available on weekends so you're pretty much screwed if you have issues on the weekend. The food journal is clumsy and most of the time I have to go on [...]to get most of the information and populate it myself. I highly recommend that website...excellent!
For the price I would wait until they get their act together. At any price it is not good enough.

I love the armband and the concept of this item....problem is that it wouldn't sync with the armband. So basically, it didn't work! I really wanted it to work, so I emailed the customer support AND called customer service. Customer support basically told me in an email (along with some advice that was right out of the user guide) that sometimes it doesn't work if there are "competing" wireless devices in your home. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? This is 2009: Wireless internet, blackberries, keyboards, mouses, phone handsets, baby monitors....who doesn't have wireless devices?? I tried again to call the customer service line (during business hours), only to receive voicemail. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. My advice: Don't botherCustomer Review: love the convenience

Like everyone else I want/need to lose weight but don't have a lot of time to dedicate. The GWFDD works hand in hand with my Body Media arm band (aka my bodybug). Both to me are great motivators to work out! The display device is a great quick-view to see how many calories burned, steps walked and moderate activity I've done for the day. It also holds yesterday's counts as well. It's such a great motivator to get my butt moving and beat the totals from the day before. In 10 days I lost 3 pounds and haven't changed my eating habits - I can't wait until I do and am hoping to watch the weight drop away. The wristband is kind of chunky, especially since I don't wear normally watches, but I've actually gotten used to it.Customer Review: Lovin' it!!

I have been using the GoWear Fit for four weeks now and I am lovin'it! I have lost 5lbs. The knowing is the answer. I know how many calories I consumed and burned each day. That info keeps me on track for weight loss. Obviously I see if I have not burned enough calories that day and I can then make sure I get more exercise in to ensure a loss at the end of the week. The display is essential as it gives minute by minute updates for me to look at which encourages me to keep moving. My fitness goals have been entered and I want to reach them. When I reach my step or exercise goals for the day the display sounds off with a message to let me know I have achieved those goals. Very cool.Customer Review: Careful: NOT compatible with bodybugg.

I searched Amazon for "bodybugg display", this came up. Since it was made by the same company, and it looks identical to the bodybugg display, I got it to go with my recently purchased bodybugg. It does not sync. According to the tech support (in India, by the accent) they will not work together.
The bodybugg device seems to be a real revolution in fitness but it has the worst manuals and tech support I have ever encountered. Expect to spend a lot of time getting yours set up. My husband is a techie by profession and he agrees. The issues are easy to deal with ONCE YOU KNOW HOW; but not documented. I want TIVO to make a bodybugg type device... or Apple.
