Customer Review: The Solution for Nasal Irrigation

I've suffered from chronic sinusitis for years, and following a sinus surgery in 1999 which made me much worse, not better, I've depended upon saline irrigation with a Neti pot to clear out my sinuses routinely and especially when I have a sinus infection.
Grossan's is the best. The Xylitol in its formulation is supposed to inhibit the growth of bacteria in the nose, mouth and sinuses, and I've found to help reduce the severity and length of sinus infections. the price on Amazon is definitely cheaper than other online stores I've used in the past.

It seems with children and allergies, we have colds in our house all the time. Naturopaths recommend nasal irrigation to prevent colds. Normal saline burned the kids noses. In desperation, I bought this. It is wonderful. The kids use it double strength, twice a day if they feel a cold coming on. I am convinced it has prevented colds and cut in half the amount of time they are sick. My husband and I are Internal Medicine physicians and we swear by this product. I swim in a health club pool. It seems that the chlorine in the water causes me to have a stuffy nose and sneeze a lot. This solution was recommended to me by swimming friends to clean out my nasal passages. I use the spray bottle and it does promote nasal flow, though much of it is the solution itself. I can't really judge how well it works, but it does seem to elimiate most of the chlorine smell in my snout.
I orded the double pack, which is way more than I will probably ever use according to the prescribed usage.

My husband and I suffer from fairly severe allergies. We were both tired of drugging ourselves with antihistamines so we bought his and hers Grossan irrigators and use this stuff daily. It is amazing!! It has cut our dependence on over the counter anithistamines/decongestants in half. During the worst of the allergy season, we use it twice daily. No more allergies or sinus infections. Plus it is so soothing on irritated sinus passages. Also great to use for a cold or flu. Please be aware that some people have sensitivities to saline solution, no matter how gentle. I happen to be one of them. I used the irrigator which felt wonderful but then started getting pain in my sinuses, just my right side. I contacted the company and they recommended that I try Alkalol. I will but if I have problems with this then I'm going to just use warm, distilled water. The company told me that some people are sensitive to the solution. In case you are, I wanted to post to let you know.
