I have had the same one for 4 years and it's still working as good as ever (knock on wood). I love this thing and honestly don't know what I'd do without it. I only use it when I'm battling with allergies or getting a cold but it works like a gem. It will stop a cold in it's tracks and it will get rid of that annoying itchy sticky feeling you get in your nose and sinuses. It helped me tremendously during very cold MA winters while working around children who were always sick and it has helped me deal with AZ dryness and allergies. This machine is amazing!!! For those of you who have bad allergies, sinus problems you must try this. I have bad seasonal allergies and this machine does the job. It really cleans your sinuses and you can breathe 100% better. I have tried different solutions but I personally think plain cheap salt water works just as good. If you have never irrigated before it will seem really weird to do such a thing. However I assure you if you keep an open mind and give it a shot you won't be disappointed. I bought the Grossan irrigation machine about 7 years ago. Liked it so much, that several teachers at my school had me order the machine for them. At that time the machine cost about $115. I use mine several times a week, and another teacher uses hers twice a day without fail. Unless the company has changed the model, ours is an engineering mavel, built for long-term use. I clean the machine immediately after using by running two full beakers of clear water through. No problems have been voiced by the other teachers who also use the Grossan regularly.Customer Review: Works great...until it fails.

I'm a severe allergy sufferer. Among many RX allergy medications, I use this product daily to clean out my nasal passages. I find it to be one of the best natural solutions to alleviate my symptoms. However, this is my 2nd one that has failed. The first lasted 1.5 years, and this one has lasted about the same amount of time. I don't believe this is my fault as I follow the cleaning instructions after each daily use (pure water rinse without salt to clean the system). At $97 a pop, I'm not going to continue to buy this product every year and a half.Customer Review: Finally - something that works!

After trying every product on the shelves, and searching the internet for solutions, I bought this over a year ago, and it is the only thing that works to keep that glob of phlem out of my throat. Whenever I get sinus attacks, I use this product, and it really, really relieves the problem. I highly recommend it to anyone who has been searching for a solution to mucus relief. No drug hang over, no upset stomache, just plain old relief! I just use water, or a mixture of water and peroxide. It is definitely worth the initial investment.
