The Hooah bar is surprisingly good. Because it was developed by the military for the US soldier, I first thought that it would be very heavy and just sit in my stomach. But the taste is very crisp and light... You don't get bogged down yet stay full for a long time after you eat it. I'm so glad that these are available for the public now. I have been using HOOAH bars now after a workout before I play some sports and it helps me have enough energy to get through and perform as best as I can. I also eat it before a competition and I find myself having enough energy to constantly keep up with the other team. I highly recommend it. It is sweet though and somewhat addicting to eat like a candy bar.Customer Review: Awesome

Compared to the energy bars on the market these days (Cliff, powerbar, etc.) that taste terrible, Hooah bars are awesome. They really work too, energy wise. I encountered these at last week's Carlsbad Triathlon. They tasted really good and I figured if it's good enough for the military, I'll give it a try...sure enough, the military knows what it's doing--it seems to work as claimed. Thumbs up, or, Hooah!Customer Review: The label gives it away.

Ingredients are listed largest amount to smallest amount. The first two ingredients in this bar are sugars. That might explain some people calling them "suprisingly good" and "slightly addictive" ;-) No thank you. There are better choices out there.
