Okay, I have always had horrid, dark, coarse forearm hair, extending past my elbow by an inch or two. Yep, I was that kid that got made fun of all the time in gym class for her ugly hairy arms. I have always felt terribly self-conscious wearing short-sleeved and sleeveless shirts and knew that shaving my forearms would just end up leaving them looking ridiculous...so I just went with it all these years and pretend that people don't notice.
On a whim, I just bought a box of the HairOff brand because it was far cheaper than the infomercial "Smooth Away" product you see everywhere, and it looked simple enough to use. So I gave it a try. First time user here, folks.
Well, let me tell you something! I have never felt better! You do have to be gentle and patient (um duh, grinding it into your skin will not make it work better!), but my goodness... my arms haven't been this smooth and hair-free since I was 4 years old. It did take a little bit of time (half an hour for my two arms), but ladies, if you have the time, it is worth it! And now that I've done it once, I am totally convinced that it won't take nearly as much time the next go-around.
Other pluses: NO mess, NO bleeding, No awful smell, NO chemicals, No water needed, and NO PAIN! Oh, I just can't tell you how much I love this product! Now I can put on a sleeveless shirt without worrying about my arms looking furry. This is one very satisfied customer :)
