Recently bought this cologne online w/o smelling it first in stores and uh oh what a big no-no. The cologne boasts its 50 scents combo but for me there's waaay too much going with this fragrance and none are great by themselves and definitely not great together. i've made this mistake far too often of buying colognes based on hype. this is my last mistake tho. Fellas this will probably be better for your wife. also, if youre in to lighter smelling colognes go with sunset heat by escada, rochas man, or even pi by givenchy. those three are far better than Hanae Mori.Customer Review: Hanae Mori HM

What a shock, I blind bought this after hearing some good reviews and boy did I stumble onto a pot of gold. Creamy hints of chocolate, blended with citrus and floral notes make this fragrance one of the most unique I own. I'm at around 60 bottles and this is one of the top complimented by women. Most men may find it a bit feminine but rest assured this is worth every penny. Projection and longevity are among the highest of everything I own. This is definately a night out or clubbing scent, it is potent and will be cloying if over-sprayed.Customer Review: Citrusy with Vanilla Hints

My wife works in the cosmetics industry and is constantly bringing home new colognes for me. This is my favorite citrus fragrance that is on the market - Better than Givenchy Pi, Better than Dolce and Gabbana the One.
It is a light and clean scent that is citrusy and has vanilla hints in it as well. I love it, everyone else loves it, and it is just irresistible. This is so cheap here on amazon that if this even sounds interesting to you, then give it a shot. It is a safe bet that it will be worth it to you.

Following on the heels of her popular fragrance for women, famed designer Hanae Mori introduced this oriental/woodsy fragrance for men. It is the happy result of some 50 essences blended together. Notes include Jasmine, Lemon, Lavender, Chocolate.Wanting a distinctly masculine container she designed a sturdy bottle with a cap reminiscent of the Tsuka, the piece at the end of a Samurai sword. Both bottle and box are engraved with her family's crest.

I needed a unique aquatic fragrance and HM was perfect. It smells fruity, watery, and masculine with a hint of vanilla, kinda like Jean Paul Gaultier. Its longevity is ok. about 4 hours on me, but cologne doesn't last long on me anyway I don't really live in a hot climate.
I love switching btw this and YSL's Body Korous!! It can be for casual wear, clubbing, or work. It's just great!!
