does a great big weighing job on you and a suit case, side of beef etc.
a no nonsense scale, bar none.
good conversation piece if placed in the guest bathroom.
reset calibration button when needed. keeps it right on the bubble.
suitable for sumo guys as well as weaklings.

must have a sense of humor to enjoy it.
but seriously folks, it is hard to see the fine lines on the scale between each 10 pound increment. red lining the 5 pound increment for the next generation health o meter is a must.
overall, it does a very good job for self weight and subs as a luggage scale. this is a positive. i would buy it again.
now if i can only find a way to redline the 165 pound line.

The Health-o-Meter HAP200KD-41 Professional Dial Scale features an exclusive split mat design that ensures stability and provides more foot room than most scales. With the oversized, 7-inch dial you won't have any trouble reading your weight -- no matter how tall you are. This scale is constructed to accurately measure weight up to 400 pounds and it is backed by a five-year limited warranty.

Place the scale on flat, level surface. A hard surface, such as a tile or linoleum floor, is the best for maximum accuracy. If the scale is placed on a very soft, deep rug, then it may not produce accurate results. Once the scale is placed on an appropriate surface, locate the zero adjustment control on the edge of the scale and set the indicator to zero. Next, step on and off the scale to check the accuracy of the zero setting. If the pointer does not return to zero, then you should repeat the zero adjustment. When the zero setting is deemed accurate, step on the scale and position your feet to distribute your weight evenly over the entire scale platform. Stand still while reading the display for the most accurate results.
Note: It is normal for your weight to vary during the day, and from one day to another. Slight changes in your weight are generally considered normal.
