Customer Review: Better as a boat anchor

I've used this scale every day for 3 months and it has to be re-zeroed every time I get on it. The mat is made of thin paper/plastic material which began peeling off immediately. On the plus side, it seems to give consistent weights, +/- a couple of pounds. I won't return it, only because it was free to begin with, using an Amazon coupon.

Looks good and all . . . but the accuracy is off by 5-8 lbs. I keep it in the corner of a hallway and every person that stands on it says "NO WAY!" I have not personally weighed myself at the docor's office then come home and jumped on it, but a friend did. I plan on selling it at my next garage sale and I'll look for something more accurate.Customer Review: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is a very substantial, high quality scale. I am extremely pleased. All other scales that I have purchased in the past are flimsy by comparison....and they didn't last very long. I expect that this scale will last for a very long time indeed!
It takes up more room than an ordinary scale, but it's well worth it!!!!

I looked for quite awhile to find an affordable scale to weigh on that went past 300 with some accuracy. This scale seems to be right on the button for accuracy and the price was excellent. I couldn't even find one similar in the local stores for less than $50 or $60. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Customer Review: The best you are going to get without buying a balance beam scale.

To be honest, I would really rather have the much more expensive doctor's balance beam scale, but I just don't have the room for it right now. I have owned a lot of scales over the years, and this is the best I have owned. certainly the best for the price. I find it to be more consistent than any other scale I have owned.
