I purchased this so that me and my boyfriend could track our weight loss. I went with this product because he is a bigger person who needed a high-range scale. I am very satisfied with it, however.....I am concerned about its accuracy since it dials a weight around ten pounds heavier than an electronic scale I have and one at the sports club. I was very happy to find this scale. I had been looking for quite some time, all the new scales are digital and rather fancy. I just wanted a simple, old-fashioned scale with a dial on it. It is stable, easy to read and, most importantly, weighs accurately and consistently (unlike the high-tech lithium scales I've bought and ended up tossing out in frustration).
