This is a great scale, especially for those who need a little extra weight capacity. And it is not too sensitive. My bathroom floor is not totally even and my last scale wouldn't work on it, but this one does. The only thing I don't like is that it comes with no instructions. The scale automatically goes to the memory area to weigh you. So, if you don't want your weight in the memory for everyone to see, you have to tap your foot on the scale, and it will come up dashes --- and then go to zero. After that you are safe to weigh in without fear of the number being revealed to the next person who uses the scale!!! I was unable to figure this out on my own - my daughter had to show me how to use the scale.Customer Review: Never worked

After reading the reviews, I ordered this scale right after a routine visit at my doctor - I was weighed on the office scale at 210 pounds. The Health-O-Meter scale arrived less than a week later, but absolutely refused to read anything close to that. It gave readings anywhere from 135 to 180 pounds, and would never give the same number twice, even just minutes later. This went on for the three days I had it... I tried different rooms, facing it in different directions, different sets of batteries, making sure it was warm by leaving it near the radiator... always the same wild numbers.
In 10+ years of being an Amazon customer, this is the first item I have ever actually returned to them.

I bought this scale for my mother, since she has a hard time seeing and I wanted a scale that was easy for her to read. This scale does the job perfectly. The numbers are large and backlit, making the display easy to read.
The only thing that took a little bit to get use to, was you have to tap the scale first (to give it a wake up call), then wait for it to go to "0.0" before you step on. The scale is matched perfectly with the ones in the doctors office too.
I highly recommend this scale to anyone, and i'm very glad I found this.

Just purchased at local Walmart. The model I got looks the same, but it's a 4 user, not 2. The model number on mine is HDM691-95
After using the scale a few months, I really like it and it is accurate.
The multiple user function is easy to understand and use. The display is a bit dim when looking straight down. It is much clearer when you look at it from a bit of an angle from the back of the scale.

It is quite accurate and fairly consistent, easy to use (after a brief wait), and keeps track of 2 people's weight gain or loss or zero change, or you can just touch corner briefly to activate without using memory. It was a treasure hunt, though, trying to find the pair of included batteries - I finally came across them 10 days later when doing my recycling - hidden within one of the corner styrofoam cushioning pieces in the box.
