This scale gives accurate readings and will match the number from your doctor's scale. I gave up on digital scales that weren't accurate. I spent a lot of money on digitals and still, I could jump on one, get a reading, step off and then get right back on and the weight would be different. Maybe I'm a little crazy when it comes to weighing myself, but I wanted accuracy and consistency and this scale gives me what I want. Plus, it will probably last me a lifetime, so it will more than pay for itself.Customer Review: If you're tired of wasting money, get this scale.

I purchased this based on other Amazon customer reviews. I was not disappointed. This scale is every bit as good as everyone else on here is saying. At first glance, the purchase price may seem a bit high, but it is actually a good value when you consider what you're getting. I would expect to pay much more for a professional quality scale like this one. If you further consider how much money you've wasted on cheaper but inaccurate scales, you'll see that this one is a much better investment.Customer Review: One step Accuracy

Our whole family is pleased with this scale (13 yrs-50). It is refreshing knowing you can get on and off and have an accurate reading and not worry about breathing, leaning or sneezing and losing and gaining 2-3 lbs with each step. I highly recommend it for those who are serious about monitoring their weight. After using many scales over the last several years and losing over 110 lbs, I wish I had discovered this scale sooner. Scale is as described in most other reviews. Heavy and takes some effort to assemble--most ladies without assistance may have difficulity carrying and assembling due to weight. Shipping time very short and arrived without damage.
We love it and use it daily. It is great if one really wants an accurate weighing. If you are tired of getting varying weight readings each time you weigh on an electronic scale--this is for you. We would buy it again!!

This scale takes up just about the same amount of space as my old bathroom scale but is so much more accurate. Also, as my eyes are getting older, this scale is easier to read because the markings are right at eye level. It operates exactly the same as my doctor's scale and is very easy to use.
Hooking the spring into position when I first set it up was a bit awkward but still only took a few moments. I'm very pleased with the product and the price.
