It does what it's meant to do and it's 100% accurate 99% of the time.. See, sometimes, the little needle moves back a few pounds when you step on a certain way. Just move it back and make sure it's in the right area and it'll be accurate for you each time. How do I know? Weighed myself on 9 other scales and I'm EXACTLY the same weight on all of them. I used digital ones and regular ones from my family, friends and my doctor. If it matches my doctors scale along with 8 others, I'm pretty sure it's accurate!Customer Review: Good cheap scale

This is a good scale - the dashes are very tiny so it is hard to read the exact weight from a standing position, but you can tell within a pound or two what it reads. It is accurate because I weighed myself before going to the doctor and the reading agreed to the doctor's scale. It also looks nice. I would recommend this if you are looking for an inexpensive non-digital scale and don't mind if it is hard to read the exact weight to the pound.Customer Review: Get something better ...

The main reason I bought this was the price. I didn't care about a digital scale and was looking for something that would just work out of the box.
However, I am dissatisfied with my purchase - Reason : Every single time you get on and off the scale, the pointer does not return to zero. I tried calibrating it, but the pointer still returns to a random position .

I bought this because it is lightweight, and because it has a dial scale. My main need for it right now was to weight a couple of suitcases. The dial is located so further inside the frame/base, that the suitcase covers the dial and it is impossible to see the weight. I ended up returning it the very same day. Otherwise, it's a pretty good scale, accurate, and nice looking.Customer Review: works fine

This scale serves it purpose. It appears to be accurate and although I haven't checked it against other scales, my weight has been the same on this as it was before. I haven't had any problems with it except with my horrible eyesight it's sometimes hard to see the exact tick mark the pointer is on. For the price it's worth it if you just want a simple scale.
