I replaced a still-working electronic scale because it varied as much as two pounds from one day to the next, and the variations made no sense. After a few initial weighings and easy adjustments, this HealthOMeter scale is much more consistent. I've had it and used it daily for over two weeks now, and it returns exactly to zero every time.
I agree with some other reviewers that the per-pound lines are a little difficult to read, but even in dim light without my glasses, it's not hard to judge where the indicator lies between the five-pound lines and get my weight to the nearest pound. If you need more than one-pound precision, you will have to go for a digital scale.
I would definitely buy this scale again, especially at the price it's going for now.
