It's not always easy to buy a gift such as a curling iron for your better half. The reviews on this item seemed very favorable and it looked quite similar to the device already in use. As it turns out it's been used and given a two thumbs up. Even better news is that it doesn't constantly shut down or blow fuses as the old one did. That in itself rates a 'five star' from me!Customer Review: Love this!!

I don't understand why there are not other products like this out there. This is the best thing for fine hair that has a tendency to frizz at the end.

It get's hot but the tip doesn't dissipate the heat too well. The tip gets scalding, finger tip, HOT. I hope the manufacturer in the future makes the end of the curling iron, MORE HEAT friendly to the finger tips. And the brush/curling iron should be longer. I have long hair and it takes a while between the heat and the short curling brush to curl my hair.
