It doesn't sound like a lot of fun to let saline solution run in one nostril and out the other, but it wasn't unpleasant at all. And very effective in opening nasal passages. This is one of the best purchases I have made. Before using the Neti Pot I would take sudafed several times per day for a stuffy nose and allergies.
