I like the product very much - style, shape and ease of use. I will continue to work on the positioning of my body as I only got the water to flow out the other nostril one time. Because the concept can be so 'different' for westerners, I believe it can take some of us some time to become accustomed to it... I will continue to work on perfecting my 'process' of use.

I suffered from chronic sinusitis. I used to get sinus infections up to 3-4 times a year. Since buying my neti pot sometime around 2004, I've only gotten a couple of sinus infections-- when I didn't have my neti pot with me.
From the very first time I used it, it was like a miracle. I could breathe again, I could actually feel and hear my sinuses opening up.

When I received this item it was in pieces, completely smashed in transit. I returned it, got a refund and ordered a plastic one. The plastic one isn't as nice looking as this ceramic, but it works really well and came in one piece. I highly recommend the Neti Pot. It really works well, much better than I ever anticipated. My husband complained of my bad breath for months. I am on a special medication that does not allow me to use mint toothpaste. As a dental hygienist, this was such a dilemma! I knew the odor was coming from post nasal drip going down my throat. After using the Neti Pot he now says my breath is totally neutral and all he smells is my sweet skin. I can't believe how cool this is ! The first time I tried it, I though my head was going to explode! Then I learned how to tilt my head just right, and lo and behold, the saline water flowed in one nostril, roamed around my head, and drained out the other side. Followed by a healthy nose blowing, and WOW, I was a new man! You gotta try this, its fun and good for you.
