It's hard to be critical of the Hitachi Wand. It's powerful, with a very deep vibration, so it can be applied in the general region and still induce an orgasm, without necessarily being applied directly on the clitoris. It can be too powerful - for most of my friends, it's a little much - but you can manoeuvre it to find the right spot for you. You can also buy attachments that distribute the vibration differently and diffuse it a bit to take down the intensity.
Beware of overuse. It can desensitize the area or, alternatively, leave you feeling a little hypersensitive. But that shouldn't stop you from buying it or using it. It can also be a bit loud, so if you're looking for something that's very discreet and dead silent, I'd recommend any of the Lelo vibrators, which are less powerful but absolutely silent and still very, very effective. Overall, the Hitachi is excellent and highly recommended.

The Hitachi Magic Wand Massager had such rave reviews that I thought I would try it.
Well, from the moment I opened the package I could see it was not going to live up to those reviews. The massage head is hard and uncomfortable, and the cord is not long enough, unless you are going to sit right next to the plug, or use an extension cord. What a pain. Why not just make it longer?
I tried it, and I had it running for about five minutes, and it got so hot that I had to turn it off.
When I contacted Amazon, they said it was non-returnable, BUT they were going to refund my money given the circumstances. I can see why it's not returnable, but if there is an obvious defect that should be taken into account. Yay Amazon for seeing that! Thank you so much. I will not buy another Hitachi Magic Wand Massager as a replacement, but I will buy whatever I buy from Amazon!

I have seen this product for quite sometime on television shows and heard whisperings of the power of the motor. Well I finally decided to find out what the big hype was all about. Product delivered quickly and discreetly. However, I was a little taken aback by the following: 1. It is BIG! with a nice weight to it. 2. The motor is loud, extremely loud. (This is definitely in no way discreet. Basically don't use with others in the home for personal pleasure if you don't want to be found out. Even on the low setting, it was loud.) For the readers and reviewers who are using this product as a personal pleasure instrument, good luck very heavy vibrations, can tell that it would be fun but I fear that you might go numb trying. This would normally be a good thing but some areas are more sensitive than others. If using for a massage, it is WONDERFUL, really gets you relaxed.Customer Review: Best I've ever had

I've tried every kind of toy I could get my hands on, but this one is by far the best.
I bought my first magic wand for about $70, and it was well worth it at that price. It survived two or three years of almost daily use before quietly stopping one day.
I also like that I don't have to worry about keeping it somewhere it won't be unintentionally discovered.
The only people I wouldn't suggest this to are those who don't want a toy that needs to be plugged in, prefer something waterproof, or like light or very adjustable stimulation (there are only two settings on this, and both are intense). Also, the extensions made for this really did nothing for me. They're made of a weird, almost sticky feeling rubber, and not firm enough to be satisfying. You're much better off just using another toy with it.
It's great for a sore neck, too.

My favorite by far!!
The red nubby RED Nubby Attachment for Hitachi Magic Wand or Any Electric Massager, and the purple g-spot Wand Attachment Purple G Spot are my favorite attachments! Very powerful messager, the attachments make it much softer feel.(not taking away the power)
Well worth every penny.
Invest in the Hitachi, you won't regrete it!!
Would like to see it being cordless and chargable! Maybe more reliable this way!!!
Theres only two settings Low and High, you really don't need any more than that!! Trust me!!
Hasn't never let me down!
