I just got this pillow and am satisfied with it but not fully.
The material is good, firm enough not to sag. But the reason I did not give it all stars is that the width is too little for me. I am a small frame person and it would not be suitable for a large person.It is Only a foot wide . A wider pillow is neeed to cover the back of my chair. Also the elastic band which holds it in place at the back of a chair, is too small. It is stretched to max at the back of my chair. It provides great support. A medium grade memory foam. looks good on your office chair.I would not recommend it for anyone who has a broad back.

This cushion is fairly firm. If you have GOOD or EXCELLENT posture, I'd say you might be looking at the right lumbar cushion. If you have poor posture and have a tendancy to lean back in your chair and put your full weight on a cushion...then, this is NOT the lumbar pillow you want. Within five minutes it is flattened to less than 1/2 inch. It will re-inflate for you...HOWEVER...five minutes after that...it's pancake time again.
One MUST consider one's posture when looking at this cushion! If I had it to do over again...I'd move on to the next kind. Don't like this thing...AT ALL!

I bought two of the memory foam pillows and have been sleeping good ever since. No tossing and turning, to grinding of my neck as I turn. So when I wanted to add a little extra support to my writing set up, I saw this and really wanted to try it. I have used back supports before. I end up giving them to the cat to sit on. They are too hard. Yes, they support, but they end up hurting as much as they help. This one with the memory foam supports, but with that gentle cloud like softness that cushions my spine. So far I haven't come across a HoMedic memory foam product I just haven't loved.Customer Review: Great Lumbar Cushion.

I spend a lot of time on my office sitting in front of the computer. I have 1 herniated disk on my low back and needed something to help cushion my lumbar area because the chair alone was not enough. I purchased this HoMedics cushion and life has been awesome since I received it. While sitting and using the cushion I've been VERY comfortable and able to stay sitting for hours. It has a zippered cover that facilitates washing it and reinstalling to a fresh feeling again. It fits perfectly on my low back and it is reasonably light. I would highly recommend this item.Customer Review: What a savior!

I needed a lumbar pillow fast and of course Amazon got it to me the next day! I had foot surgery and was laid up on my couch for a week after-wards. I have a bad back and was worried that as my foot healed, the back would go, but this pillow has saved me! I used it every day at home for a week and now have it at work in my office chair as my leg is propped up. If not for this pillow, I would be in shambles. Highly recommended.
Con: only one, the cover does move around on it, but that really doesn't bother me. The functionality is what I need.
