Let's face it, these things just have to "click" with your particular issue. i have degenerative disc disease in my neck & lower back. This pillow makes driving comfortable & I have just ordered a second one for my office chair. It really helps me sit for longer periods of time. It has a removable, washable cover (I do wish it wasn't white though). I give it 5 stars!Customer Review: Good support!

I found this support pillow to be large enough and resilient enough to be truly useful for lower back support. I use it in my car where I've been previously disappointed with inflatable type support pillows. The HoMedics is larger and provides support while conforming to both the car seat and my lower back. I appreciate not having to inflate/deflate the pillow.Customer Review: Works fine but needs to be a little Wider

This product works just like it should. It is soft and form fitting. There are no batteries to poke you with. It's light and portable. The price is very inexpensive compared to other car back supports. The only drawback is the pillow is not very wide and unless you are very skinny you'll overlap a bit. Thankfully I'm more skinny than not right now.

I use this one primarily for my car. It does press me out too far to start with but after a few minutes the foam compresses and it settles at an appropriate spot. I bought a different lumbar cushion for an office chair. I liked this one best in the car, while I liked the other one (with a hard back and different cushion... not just foam) for an office chair.Customer Review: Better than I could have hoped for

This pillow makes my back feel so lovingly supported! I had no idea how good it would feel to have lumbar support. I use it in my car, a Honda Civic 2-door. It does require me to push the seat back a bit further from the steering wheel, but it works. The elastic strap definitely doesn't fit over or around the car seat. But again, I don't mind.
