"Aaah..yeah, that's the spot"...with a product this good you'll almost be happy for those kinks in your neck and back.
As a man in his early 40s just beginning to feel the inevitable effects of human mortality, I searched the Net long and hard for a device that rivaled the 200 dollar miracle machine my chiropractor uses. This one comes darn close, and at a price that let me make the car payment on time this month.
I dinged it one point solely because the nodules are made of some sort of rubberized plastic that irritated my skin, a dilemma easily solved by placing a thin wash cloth between them and my tender flesh.
You'll find this massager a welcome step up from those do-nothing battery powered vibrators available for ten-twenty bucks.
I notice that a number of other reviewers complained about its weight, but this was not an issue for me. Hitting the weights makes me a little more sore than when I was in college, but my biceps are still holding out against the ravages of time. If anyone finds a cure for aging, let me know about it. For years I have suffered lower back pain, daily, as a result of being a victim of an intentional hit and run accident while riding a bike off road. Some days I couldn't stand up straight. I bought this unit about 3 weeks ago and for the first time in nearly 17 years have gotten relief from my lower back pain. I still wake up with the lower back pain, but a few minutes with this baby and I'm good for the rest of the day. No more walking stooped over and I only use it for a few minutes in the morning. It has even helped reduce the pain in my sciatic nerve (caused by said hit and run) which caused me never ending grief also on a daily basis. For the first time in 17 years I have radically cut down on the pain medication and am truly grateful that I discovered this unit. I can't compare it to the old unit others have, but I can highly recommend this based on the pain relief this has given me. I'm just sad it took me 17 years to find this! If this ever broke I'd buy another in a heartbeat. The pricing on this item is also an excellent value.Customer Review: Well worth the purchase price many times over.

How truly pleased I am to have found this item. Well into my seventies with a goodly share of aches and pains, this percussion massager has proved to be just terrific. For a number of weeks I was visiting a chiropractor only to realize he was treating me mostly with a massager and pretty much shying away from adjustments. I figured, heck I can eliminate the middle man if I had a massager like his, so found the HOMedics Pa-100 at Amzaon.
I had some doubts about being able to self-administer a proper massage since I live alone, however, this instrument proved to be most versitile and very easy to handle. Not only has it done wonders for my neck and shoulder areas; but along with an occasional Quinine tablet, this massage treatment has completely eliminated my terrifying leg cramps at night.
I have found it most helpful in allowing me to continue an active life-style without fear of being saddled with morning-after aches and pains.

If you have used all those "buzzing" massagers, this one is the one that will actually get the kinks out. The two pressure points move back and forth at blazingly fast speed. When you put the head on your back you will finally feel those pains getting the relief they deserve. At $30 (at the time of this writing) this unit is worth every penny. As an added bonus, under the head there is a rubber button (that is sorta hidden) but when you press it the heads move from a close position to a wide position so that you can move from arms to legs or neck to back. It is REALLY heavy though, just like everyone else said, but that's because of the motor size, obviously. I have tried (owned) 5 different types of massagers and this one is one of my favorites. I don't know if spending an extra $30 bucks for heat or two more pressure points (the 4 point homedics one) is worth it. I think for the price, this is definately worth it. I LOVE this massager because it is WONDERFUL at getting rid of pain in the lower back. Like one of the previous reviewers mentioned- it works great when you are pregnant. I would not have survived without it. I did find that it interefered with the TV slightly, but so do a lot of other types of electronic devices- even remote control toy cars, etc.- so that doesn't bother me. The thing that does bother me is this: I am smart enough to keep my fingers and hair away from the heads (like the instructions say) BUT when you use this massager (especially in areas that have a tendency to be a bit "plump" like lovehandles...lol) it has a tendency to pinch. So this is my warning to everyone who uses this: BEWARE OR YOU WILL GET PINCHED (and have red welps for about a week) But other than that it is a good massager for the price, and I would still recommend it if you have a lot of backaches. :)
