This newer model (HoMedics PA-100) does not pinch like the older model did. I like it much more. Its just a little weaker than the older model but still good. I still highly recommend it. The price was a great buy! I depend on it a lot. I use it at least 5 times a week for an hour and its very silent. Have only used for a month. Hopefully it will last!
On a personal note: The truth is always stranger than fiction!! Question Everything and have an open mind!!

I have had this massager for years and love it--but it finally broke! I don't know if they make this style anymore. This one has a variable speed on it--the current one does NOT. It only has two setting, which feel like low and medium. This model was awesome, but I took back the other one (which extends). It didn't even begin to compare to this one. Why companies feel the need to change something awesome to mediocre is beyond me. So now I'm on the hunt for this one.Customer Review: Best for Back Pain; I love it.

In conclusion, it works perfectly. I love it. However, you may also want to check out the model that comes with heat massager. Noted that heat massager comes with fix head length.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas in 2005. It is absolutely the best present I have ever bought him. He has back problems and this machine works great. I use to always rub his back and shoulders but not for a long enough period of time. With this machine, I can give him a long massage that truly makes him feel better. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good massage. After a year and a half, it is just like new. I purchase this massage machine is because it is not expensive. For the cost verse quality, it is a good deal. However, in the highest vibration setting, it is too weak compare with Korean made "Mediness" similar product. This product provides continous strength adjustment and head replacement. Because the strongest vibration setting is not strong enough, the adjustment feature becomes useless. If you don't expect stronger vibration, it is a bargain.
