My girlfriend has had one for 1 year and 3 months and it still works perfectly. We use it quite a bit (3-5x per week), sometimes for 30+ minutes. It is heavy, and it needs to be in order to massage deep enough. She paid $39 for it and felt that, that was a good deal (it's the model with heat - which I don't think makes much of a difference and is probably harder on the machine). At this price it's a no-brainer. I'm buying a few for gifts.Customer Review: Estimated Delivery Date... "Deceptive!"

I have owned several of these specific units over the years. I like the quality of the product; what I really dislike is an estimated ship time of a couple of days and it is taking over a month. If they had been more honest, I would have made the purchase else where... as I have in the past. Poor service the first time is the suppliers fault... If I put myself in that position in the future... it would be foolish on my part.Customer Review: Masseuse In a Box...

Okay, maybe it's not as good as a masseuse, but for a third of the cost of a single visit to a good masseuse, you can whip this out anytime you need it. My wife and I keep this in our living room and when either of us have a sore back, rump or legs, we'll use this and it does a pretty good job. Again, it's not as good as a masseuse, but I still give it 5 stars because for the price, you simply can't beat the relief it gives.Customer Review: Great product

This massager really does the trick for those times when you can't beg your way into someone else in the house rubbing your shoulders.
While it can't really get to those little kinks along the side of your neck, it is really great for working the large muscles of your back and really does work the knots out. Love it!
Just be careful along bony areas like your shoulder blades - it can hurt in those spots.

Buying the percussion massager or thumper as I call it,was one of the best things I have ever purchased.I have severe neck pain with headaches and just using the machine for a few moments can do miracles for me.
It is solidly made.But easy for me to hold and do my own neck.I give this item a 100% rating.Oh and the different heads and settings makes it perfect for any degree of muscle discomfort.
