Customer Review: Looks nice but no water sound

I bought this fountain because I like the sound of running water. After setting it up I noticed that I heard the pump running but no water sounds. That's too bad as I thought the fountain was pretty. I don't think it was the pump itself that was loud but when attached to the cover of the fountain it started the cover vibrating. That's what makes the noise on the fountain I had. I liked the looks of it but since there was no water trickling sounds I returned it.Customer Review: Affordable and effective

I'm giving it 4 stars because, though not perfect, it does a good job for the money. By re-arranging the rocks
you can vary the amount of splashy sounds. The downside is that because of the ark-shaped bottom there will
be a corresponding amount of outside splashing. So you'll want to use a tray and/or absorbent mat. Also, there
is a slight motor hum but the sounds of the water pretty much override it. Ultimately, it does help me to relax.

I bought this product from another store. I expected it to be a nice fountain. It is absolute junk. It may look like it's metal but it is not. It's plastic. The plastic isn't even painted to look like it's metal. It's just brown. I am not even setting it up because it is NOT worth the $35 that I spent on it. I have already boxed it up and am taking it back to the store. Please save yourself the disappointment and DO NOT buy this item.Customer Review: Big Disappointment

Purchased this fountain as a 2nd tabletop fountain for my house. All plastic, noisy, not enough rocks to cover the platform--total disappointment! I could barely hear the water over the noisy pump. My first fountain (Homedics-same brand) works lovely. It's the Zen Fountain (actually made of stone and < $20), so I thought I would be pleased with this one. Going back to get my $30 for this piece and purchase a quality item.Customer Review: Highly OK

Had my expectations a lil high after viewing all the reviews...however, wasn't really happy after I started using it...yes, the motor is quite quiet :) but the sound made by the water is really low even after I adjust the stones to get a lounder sound; at times I really couldn't differentiate btwn the sound of the fountain water and the ones running in my heater pipes :(
