I started taking this product last Saturday.I went into the health food store I had passed by some many times over the last 5 plus years after finally being at my wits end with not sleeping, being over emotional, stressed, snapping at my kids etc..
Last year was a very bad year from the beginning to the end. Starting with the rain that turned our backyard into a lake that flooded our basement twice, once in March and then again in April. To the bouts of mercer between my husband and I and both of us having to be lanced. That continued for months. My house in disarray because of the floods and the basement not usable really affected me since I used part of my basement as our classroom. Then my father-in-law goes into a coma and is then in and out of the hospital and rehabs.In June we get a letter from our home owners insurance saying they are going to cancel our insurance if we don't repair our roof and gutters.. We had 2 shingles that peeled up because of the storms in March and April. No leaks, nothing hanging off the house.. They give us one month to make the repairs!Then my pet iguana who I had for 2 years and was my 8th iguana I owned, attacked me and I had to have my nose stitched up by a plastic surgeon.. That was in August. Then my daughter came down with mercer.. Now I am really upset because she is only 5! October 9th,2010 I am talking to my identical twin sister and put the kids on the phone to say hi to their Auntie. The last thing we say to each other is "I Love You".
On October 11th my father calls to tell me my sister is dead! That was the moment in which I completely lost it! Complete loss of everything. I don't sleep well to begin with, now sleep is something that won't come at all. No energy to clean, to teach, to take care of my family, no energy to even care about life! I have been taking and trying different anti-depressants for my mood swings etc for the last 2 plus years with no changes happening... The last two months my 7 year old son was having problems going back to sleep... Trying different things with him, putting him to bed later etc.. with no results.. He's exhausted, I am exhausted and no one is happy. Last Saturday, I finally stopped by that store before picking up my 3 children. I walked in and spoke to the woman about everything that has been going on in my life. She said "You need Holy Basil by New Chapter!" And you need "Bach Rescue Pastilles for both you and your son." Try them for a week and come back and see me and tell me how you are doing.
What a difference!!! My son is sleeping much better, and so I am .. My moods are much better, not totally there yet but I am very optimistic!! I know what I am going through and have been through is going to take time to heal, but I also know that Mom is at the top of the family triangle.. And if mom isn't feeling right or doing well, it will trickle down to everyone else in the family. I have already recommended this to many friends..
