Don't waste your money. You will get as much pleasure from hot water in a big Rubbermaid bucket as this Homedics device. I just received this as a Christmas present and it is going back. Years ago, I had a Dr. Scholl's footbath that vibrated, heated the water, and was an absolute joy. It broke. I don't understand why, 20 years later, the foot baths on the market are weak, messy, and can't heat the water let alone keep it warm.
Cons: No power, no heat, and virtually no relaxation.
Pros: Based on reviews I have read on other machines, it is light, easy to carry with a fold-down handle, and comes with a nifty foot pedicure device that can be attached to the base unit or hand-held. Unfortunately, I will not test it because IT IS GOING BACK!!! Oh yeah, another plus is that it doesn't splash over the side like other units, probably because IT LACKS THE POWER!!!
