After buying and using this massager for a month, I can honestly report that it is a great product. In fact, in some ways, it's almost too good... at least for smaller people. It's heavy duty and feels like it should last a long time. I would even rate it as being commercial quality. But it massages so well that it sometimes almost hurts my wife... unless she first puts a heavy towel over her shoulders and back. Then she really enjoys her! I very much like using it as is... without any additional padding. We take turns giving each other neck and back massages at the end of long days. It unquestionaly helps in relaxing tense muscles and allows both of us to sleep better. It has also helped her to receive fewer, and less severe tension headaches... something she has suffered from for a while. Also, the dual heads create an invigorating sensation when running it up and down the sides of the spine... with one head on each side. The shoulder, neck, and back massages are similar in quality to the level I've received in chiropractors' offices. We would buy this massager again in a heartbeat.
Before buying it, I checked several places, including eBay, and got the best deal at Amazon... especially with the free shipping.

I have a few massagers at home, some supposedly powerful ones recommended by different friends/relatives. I suffer with a chronic excruciating pain on my upper left shoulder between backbone and shoulderblade which affects the use of my left hand somewhat. After trying my many massagers and not getting any relief, I decided (after reading the reviews on this massager) to get this one especially with Amazon having the best price on it. OMG what a shock when I took this monster out of the box. It was beautifully heavy, I told myself I don't need to bother my entire family anymore to massage my shoulder. I thought to myself if this baby performs as good as it feels, I would be in business. Well, long story short, it did and also exceeded my expectations, I did not even know they made massagers this powerful. Its like being in a huge massage machine vibrating on my back - hmmm massage heaven indeed. I felt this thing under my muscles actually touching that spot deep inside my shoulder blade. You know, just buy the thing and get it over with, you will never regret this purchase.Customer Review: Immediate relief

1) It relieved tightness and aches in my calves the first time I used it, and they stayed comfortable the rest of the day. Normal stretches and other kinds of massage never helped.
2) Using a mouse for any length of time make my shoulder ache. This massager removed the tightness and ache immediately.
3) It feels very good on my lower back, but didn't seem to relieve or improve anything ... until my back "slipped" the other day, resulting in pain and weakness. This is a chronic problem, and the only way to recover from it has been to see a good Chiropractor. I used the new Percussion Massager and a Shiatsu Back cushion (which I've been using for a long time), and the problem went away. This has never happened before, and I still can't really believe it happened now. The timing couldn't have been better, as the problem developed early on Christmas Eve, and I was facing a long, uncomfortable weekend. The acid test will be the next time(s) my back has a problem: will the Percussion Massager work again?

I bought this massager for my fiance who has chronic back pain and muscle tightness. The massager does a decent job of loosening her muscles and relieving the pain but it is tricky to use owing to the width of the head is fairly wide (4 inches between the points of contact and the head is wider still). This makes it difficult to use in the shoulder region as it is absolutely painful if this massager contact bone beneath the skin (shoulder blade, collar bone, spine, etc). The heat function is basically negligible...it prevents the contacts from feeling cold on your skin during the winter but that is all, it by no means will heat an area of your skin/muscle that is sore. It was worth the money for this item because we had a specific use that required so much power. For a normal person, I suspect this would be more painful than useful.Customer Review: This is a keeper! Excellent product!!!

This massager has helped my back tremendously!! More so than the PT and chiropractor who just want to keep you coming in so they can rack up the bucks!! The back surgeon wanted to cut [OUCH!!] and offered 2 surgeries, if the first one didn't work he had another one up his sleeve!!@# I have learned my lesson from these vendors!! Everyone wants a "quick fix". Injuries to your back take time to heal and this massager is wonderful. I do not have a lot of strength in my arms to hold this on my back, but laying on my side using it and letting the weight do the work works! Another mention was made of the shortness of the cord...an extension cord is the answer...also using a bath towel to cover the area you are massaging helps for comfort. And reading "Healing Back Pain" by John E. Sarno, M.D. holds the "truth". You will not regret reading it!
