I bought this at a local Walgreens and this is by far the best handheld massager I feel you can get. I have bought smaller massagers and they just don't cut it, particularly if your looking for relief from pain. Some people complain about the weight of the product, well it has to have a good amount of weight which means a more powerful motor so that it can deliver a good massage. I have a few massagers at home, some supposedly powerful ones recommended by different friends/relatives. I suffer with a chronic excruciating pain on my upper left shoulder between backbone and shoulderblade which affects the use of my left hand somewhat. After trying my many massagers and not getting any relief, I decided (after reading the reviews on this massager) to get this one especially with Amazon having the best price on it. OMG what a shock when I took this monster out of the box. It was beautifully heavy, I told myself I don't need to bother my entire family anymore to massage my shoulder. I thought to myself if this baby performs as good as it feels, I would be in business. Well, long story short, it did and also exceeded my expectations, I did not even know they made massagers this powerful. Its like being in a huge massage machine vibrating on my back - hmmm massage heaven indeed. I felt this thing under my muscles actually touching that spot deep inside my shoulder blade. I paid about $30 for this puppy. I needed a vibrator for my back/shoulder which I could use independently. The Homedics PA-5H puts out a strong penetrating vibration and works wonders on my back. I can lower it down my back while holding on to the handle and even let it slide lower while holding on to the cord. It works very well on the knots/nerds around my upper back/shoulder area which were killing me after my recent shoulder injury. I'm a happy customer.Customer Review: Homedics Massager

This massager gets the job done. If your back, shoulders are in need of some TLC, get the massager out. It's really best if you have someone hold it for you & actually do the massage. I find it a bit heavy if you try and give yourself a massage. It can be done, but it's just not the same experience as if you had help. The heat element really works and the extra power gets right in the tight spots.
I would recommend this product for those looking for relief from stress.
