I have lots of problems with leg and shoulder/back pain so I've been a steady customer of Homedics products. Most of them I love; some of them I hate. This is probably the worst product I've ever bought with the Homedics label on it. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this miserable excuse of a product.
So what is wrong with it? No power! It just shakes a little bit on the surface of the skin. You might detect some mild sensation, but you won't get any alleviation from pain. The only thing it will alleviate you from is an overstuffed bank account.
Just to prove that I am a fan of Homedics products (and it was only because of other products that I gave this piece of instant garbage a try), I would strongly recommend a couple of other products. I recently got Homedics HHP-300 Extendable Percussion Massager. Now, this is a massager! If you have real, deep-seated muscle pain this will help with it enormously. I'm also a huge fan of Homedics Therapist Select SP-10H Shiatsu Pillow, Beige, which is great for either lower back or upper shoulders massage (not so great for middle of the back. So yes, get a Homedics product, but just not this one.
