When it has came down Homedics, they not only have given and offered great theraputic electronics, but also have more depth when it comes to great electronics that help you just relax and unwind through a stressful time. That comes well with the Homedics Shiatsu Massaging Cushion. It is easy to use, and gives a strong and simple massage during the time you need it on your favorite chair. It is simple and easy to operate and does a great massage on your back, with a nice amount of heat to soothe away the pain. I absolutely love the massages it gives, all in comforts of your home. I absolutely recommend this as a must buy for your favorite place you just want to sit down and relax. It really delivers well.

This massage cushion has helped both me and my husband with our sore backs. The first time using it, it feels quite aggressive, but you get used to it after a few times (or a pillow helps to ease the degree of the massage). We had one of the heat balls die on us, within the first 3 months, but the massage balls still roll and work. If I were to invest in another one, I probably would pick one that is able to pause to work the areas I really want worked. The cushion is recommended to only use one-15 minute interval at a time, but I find to go 2-3 intervals is okay. I probably wouldn't use it more than 1-hour at a time, or else I'd be paying for it the next day. A great cushion for the price...much better than just those vibrating massage cushions that don't do much good.Customer Review: Pure Back Bliss

I have frequent back pain due to my daily grind, and I've never really had the time or money to see a massage therapist. I tried a demo of the Shiatsu massage cushion when it first came out several years ago and wanted one the moment I tried it. It took this long to have enough disposable income to afford it, and the great price here really helped. So I finally ordered one a couple of days ago and got it today. I just tried it and it is pure bliss. Inside of 4 passes, my back was relaxing and now I feel great. I'm 5'11" and it reaches right up to my shoulders, which is great, and with the heat option, I can feel warmth and relaxation flood through my back. Great product, great relief. Highly recommended.

This product does a pretty good job of providing an automatic massage. The heat option does a great job and it is nice to have the full back, upper back, or lower back options.
The one major criticism I would have of this product is that it has a tendency to pinch in portions of the back since it doesn't really adjust to the curve of the spine.
But all in all I really like this product, and it is great after a long round of golf!

I first purchased one of these in December from Sears. The massage was nice, although I could feel the massagers grinding a bit in their sockets in the upper part of the cushion. But the moment I tried to turn on the heat, the whole thing just stopped dead and I could not get it to power up again at all. I took it back and it was replaced. I was afraid to try the heat option again until recently, and with good reason -- the second cushion died in the exact same way!
No more of these for me -- I'm outside the return window for the second one, so I'll just take it as a $99 lesson not to trust Homedics products and spring for a more reliable massager.
