Unlike the reviews that I read somewhere else, this massaging cushion works well except the heat function. When I tried the first time, I thought that the head function didn't work, but later I found out that I didn't feel the heat because I was wearing a sweat shirt. Once I took my sweat shirt off, I felt the heat, but very little. On the other hand, I can think of liability if it were too hot.
I'm 5'9" tall and the cushion covers most of my back. Both lower and full back functions work well. I think it's worth for its price.

This is a great product - it gives a nice firm massage from your shoulder to lower back and has the option of doing only the upper or lower half. Additionally, you can turn on the heating elements for a bit of heat with the massage.
This massage cushion has worked great so far. It is fairly firm and depending on how sensitive you are, may be a bit much. But, the manual suggests placing a towel between your back and the chair for a more gentle massage.
So far, we are extremely pleased!

The chair was a great bargain, however, the movement of the shiatsu balls does not extend all the way to the lower back. I'm 5'10 and have to sit on pillows in order for the chair to massage the lower back effectively. Also, at the extremes of the range of shiatsu's movement, you can barely feel the massage on the upper shoulders and as I mentioned earlier, the lower back. Overall, after a litter improvisation, I still obtain a fairly good massage after those long days of work.Customer Review: Perfect for my sore back

I've tried many of these at mall stores on display, etc. This is the first one I've tried that actually does the trick. The massage roller hits all the "right spots" and the added heat is just delightful. I've been suffering from severe muscle spasms in my upper back behind my shoulder blades and this works the spasms out ever so gently but yet firmly. No regrets on buying this, my back feels so much better already. Amazon has the best price I've found as well!!!Customer Review: Massaging cushion thing:D

I got this for my dad for Christmas and not once has he used it but that is ok with me:D I think that this is a great product and is worth the money. If you have back problems and cant afford a message therapist then this is the next best thing. The only bad thing about it is that it has to be on a cushioned surface. I tried having it on a hard chair and it makes a horrible noise so you have to have it with cushion. Great product though and very fast shipping.
