This is a great multifunctional product. Those spas better watch out!!! The therapeutic feeling of the Homedics chair is unparalleled. I have used massage chairs before with little to no fan fair.g extra tunl I work out three to four times a week. My muscles ache and knees are sore. I need something extra, besides the ICY/HOT, to ease the aches and pains. The fact that you have multiple settings, can use the chair anywhere (I currently use it in my car right after I get out of the gym) and you have a built in heat setting, what is there not love! This is a phenomenal product. I enjoy using it and think it can be a therapeutic tool for anyone.Customer Review: Great while it worked!

I bought myself one of these for Christmas - actually it was a lesser version of this one - I bought it at Target and liked it, but it didn't have the "spot massager" feature. Unfortunately, after about 3 weeks, it just stopped working. I returned it to Target, and bought this one from Amazon. It was awesome! But guess what? After about three weeks, it stopped working! Now I have no idea what to do as it appears Homedics has a corner on the market. It's great that I have been able to do returns and get my money back, but I want a massager that works . . . permanently! I e-mailed Homedics and they said they're sorry and this is "not typical of their products" but I still feel in a bind, as I would like to have one of these but I am afraid to buy another Homedics.Customer Review: Gift for my Husband

My Husband and I saw a commercial for this Shiatsu massaging cushion with heat on TV one evening, so I asked him if he would like to have it for Christmas. He said no he didn't need it. Well, I promptly got on the internet and found this product through Amazon and ordered it. He opened this gift on Christmas and loves it. My Husband drives truck and his back gets stiff and sore but he comes home, relaxes with his Shiatsu and he feels 10 times better. I tried it too and it really gives you a workout, so I use it when he isn't home.
This product really does do what it says it will do and the heat is such a great adddition to the overall experience. My Husband and I would recommend this product to any one that likes a massage, it really is great.

While waiting for a prescription in CVS, I tried the 200 model and I was impressed. Later I tried a newer model in Costco and I was equally impressed. The model in the store is no longer available and on their website, they only offer a SBM-350H that I ordered. After using it for three days I was not impressed. IMO this unit does not go as high up the shoulders as the SBM-300H model. Some of the other reviewers mentioned this as well. I am returning it since I purchased the SBM-300H model from another store for the same price as the Costco model. I have to use a towel over the top of the unit since the pressure was too hard for me. With the towel in place it is working great. I appreciate all the reviews that helped me make my decision.Customer Review: Heat makes all the difference!!

I own the previous model to this and did not find it all that effective. After reading the reviews I decided to buy this, which seems identical except heat was added. The heat has made a huge difference and makes it so much more effective. I am so glad I upgraded.
Although I have not tried the higher model (quad), from reading the reviews and from experience, I think this is a better choice in order to focus the massage at one spot.
I would give it 5 stars but for two points. I have to sit on a cushion to get it all the way down to my lower back just above the SI joints. Also, one improvement would be to make the width adjustable in shiatsu mode.
Once again, well worth the upgrade.
