IN Short. The good- The sound quality is good and relaxing.
The bad- The clock has a high and low seting. At the low setting, it is still way too bright. Most people put there alarm clock facing them so you can read it, this one will keep you up. I think because it is blue and not red or amber it is more intense. I have used four layers of blue plastic tape to cover the screen to dampen the light. As for the projection clock funtion, aside from being a novelty it has no real useful purpose.

This is the coolest clock I have ever owned. I enjoy reading before bed and listening to the nature sounds. Being awakened by these sounds is so much better than a loud buzz or a blasting radio I've used before. I love the time projection on the ceiling. I can see it clearly without my glasses and know exactly how long I linger in bed without having to reach over covers and pillows to see a bedside clock. There will be several people getting this clock from me for Christmas.

This is the third time I have purchased this same item within about 1 1/2 years. All three of them have had problems. The last one is now displaying the projected time in all 8's and in previous purchases either the projection stopped working or the time could not be set with the buttons. It is too bad because I really like the style of the product and all its features. This last one was purchased in June of this year. Not worth paying for another one if they don't even last a year.Customer Review: I love it

This is a great product. The projection feature is great. No more sitting up to look at the clock, you can just look up at the ceiling while laying down. The sounds are very soothing. It has helped me get to sleep many times. My only gripe is that the projection is slightly on the brightside. But it has never prevented me from getting to sleep. In fact, sometimes it is nice to have a nightlight. I love this clock so much I bought one for every bedroom in my home.Customer Review: Too Bright, Time set button stopped working

Even on dim this clock is so bright I have to cover it up to get to sleep. It illuminates the entire room as if a lamp were on. The projection is also just as bright as the face so I've never used it. After owning this clock for less than 3 months the Timer button stopped working so now I can longer set the time making it useless. I did get this as a gold box special for $12 but not worth it for the short period of time I was able to use it.
