Customer Review: Good idea... BAD design

Usually when one needs a white noise machine they're sensitive to light too... the projection on this clock is like the landing lights on a 747 - and there's no way to dim it. Same thing with the clock face - it's so bright it's unusable.
As for the white noise aspect, the loops are so short you can hear a repetition of sounds - enough to give you a headache. It's more like a torture device than a sleep aid.
Avoid this product.

I like the nature sounds that the clock makes but it has more faults than goods.
For example, none of the buttons are illuminated so you cant do anything in the dark which is really annoying I don't want to turn on a bright light to set the alarm. The radio feature is the old dial one where you don't get the perfect reception ever and finally and MOST ANNOYING 2 weeks out of the box and the projector just stopped working........

Already own one and I really love it. Especially the way you can have the time projected on your ceiling or wall you don't have to get up and look at your alarm clock to see the time just open your eyes and the tme is clear as day projected where ever you want it to be. My daughter saw it and wanted one. The price through Amazon was cheaper then what I paid for it at Linen and things and I even used a coupon at the time of purchase.Customer Review: night light

This clock is what we were looking for BUT it is too bright, it's like haveing a night light on your ceiling. I wouldn't recomend for a light sleeper. The beam of light that comes from the clock is so bright, I could see hair from my dog floating by in the middle of the night. we moved it across the room which made it a little better but STILL BRIGHT. Maybe I'll put it in my daughters room, she still sleeps with a night light.Customer Review: Low EMF

Bought this because of its supposed low EMF output, and it didn't let me down! My old clock radio sent EMF all the way down to my pillow.....but this one puts out very, very minimal EMF, virtually none!!
The display was rather bright, but all I did was cover it with dark window tint and it worked like a charm!! If you're looking for a low EMF output clock radio than look no farther.....YOUVE FOUND IT!!! :)
