Customer Review: Display Too Bright

I purchased this clock because my old Timex with Nature Sounds no longer works, and the new version was out of stock. Well, this is being returned because the display is so bright it lit up our room. I'm a light sleeper, and had to cover it up the first time I used it, which is not helpful.
The design is nice, and the sound is good, but I cannot use it due to the brightness. I'm very disappointed.

I wanted a clock with soothing white noise. The noises as someone else mentioned have odd noises that are not soothing - frogs croaking, birds chirping, squawking, etc. So much for that. The display on the ceiling broke shortly after I got it. I'm left with a clock with a display so bright I could almost read by it. As others suggest, it is so bright I have to cover it....
I wouldn't buy it again.

Received the first one (was a gift) and it broke after a week (projector started to only show portions of the time) but buy with confidence from Amazon. I called them and they had my return label out within an hour and the replacement shipped to me next day. The device is nice, the projector is bright (very bright) and the sound of nature is better than in some of the other ones (we have a timex also).Customer Review: A Great Product And Easy To Use

I gave this to my Mother In law(59) this year for a christmas gift n i showed her how to use it n she loves it.It's easy to use.She is not into techology n this is good for her to understand how to use it.she loves that the time is showed on the ceiling and that it's an alarm clock and sound machine in one.She has trouble sleeping but not anymore with this.i would recommend this product to anyone.Customer Review: poorly designed

I had to e-mail the manufacturer to ask how to display the radio station, and was stunned by the response: this item was not designed to include that kind of display. What were they thinking?
I really liked waking up the first night I had this to read the time projected on the ceiling. Unfortunately, that feature no long worked by the second night. I returned this to the vendor.
