I am deployed to Iraq and at my workplace we had an idea to make the holidays more enjoyable by having a secret santa gift exchange. I was looking for something that my co-worker could use daily instead of buying something corny that would only be in a corner collecting dust, but also within a reasonable budget. I got the idea from another friend that has a more expensive model the QM-400 down at her office. When i sat in her chair that has Quad rollers, it was like heaven! I've bought massaging chairs in the past that only amounted to a weak vibration, so from sitting in her chair, I knew i wanted the Shiatsu model because it feels like a REAL massage. I read the previous reviews on this pillow and at first I was skeptical because i am a firm believer in you get what you pay for, and if it wasn't a hit, I wouldn't have time to get a better gift mailed out. But when it arrived, I quickly tested it out to make sure it would be a great gift and let me tell you, I was very surprised and pleased with this 30.00 pillow! I was so pleased at the results that i had to take some time out to write this review for others to read about it! It makes a great, usable, inexpensive gift for a friend. Of course i will splurge for myself and buy the more expensive full back shiatsu model when i get back home, but i cant wait to see my co-workers' face when he tries it out at the office!Customer Review: I love this!

My husband just purchased this for me. I am someone who suffers from chronic neck and shoulder pain, and I get a massage every two weeks. I was hesitant to purchase this item after reading these reviews, but one day I was hurting really bad, so he went out and bought it. I was not expecting too much based on other reviews, but I must say that I am impressed! I love it, and the best part is that it is inexpensive and it doesn't get tired! I will warn you that the shiatsu pressure can be too much for someone who is not used to massage. But the vibrating cushion massagers just don't do anything. My advice is to start out sitting up until you get used to it. My pillow has two rollers that are even on both sides of the cushion, in reply to the earlier comment that one was different than the other...maybe yours is defective. There are two rollers on each side, one is stronger and the other lighter pressure. I have let my friends try it and now they want one too! I think I will buy for Christmas gifts! As for the rollers getting stuck in the material, I have been using mine very much, and have not had any problems. I would advise that you flip back the flap, and not use towels or anything else with it. Also, depending on the amount of pressure you use with it, you may be sore. Got mine 2day at Wal-Mart for only $29!! It rang up $38, but on the shelf it was listed as $29. Luckily they honored it, 'cause the mistake on their part was pretty blatant :). Bottom line- great deal, and so far the message pretty much exceeded my expectations! I was expecting for it to be returned the same day- after plugging it in and getting what I thought would be a cheap, lackluster message; but I'm finding as I get used to it more and more, it gets better and makes my very sore upper back area feel a good deal of relief! Even if I ended up paying what should of been $38, this same unit at a place like Brookstone would easily be $70+. The overall quality of the unit is WAY superior to the price. My only hope is it doesnt break in a few months lol. Whenever I buy any kind of electronic item, I always check Amazon and other sites to see what the ratings are. Luckily the reviews on here and Wal-Mart's site were mainly 4-5 stars out of 5 this, so I was very pleasantly surprised and think this is a keeper! I give it a 5 star rating for the PRICE and quality so far; but overall I give it a 4 due to just getting it today and also tending to like a massager that scrolls up and down- opposed to one that's stagnant. I have been looking for years for one of these type massagers that really feels good and gives relief. At last I have found it. When the price went below thirty dollars I went for it. I am so glad. It is half the cost of a massage and it produces the same results. You can move it all over the body just like two warm hands. You are in control of how much pressure you want at any point.
I have fibromyalgia and have many sore points that never release I will not say this will even totally relax them but it helps. The amount of heat is just right for me. I sit in the recliner NOT reclined and start at the neck and move it down to base of spine. I lean into it just as much as I can stand, lightly, and it is wonderful. I also like it to massage the bottoms of my feet. Having it in a small soft pillow is the best design. It makes it very versitile. those big chair mats limit you to just where they are located. This is just right.
It has a 20 min timer so if you fall asleep it turns off. This happens when using on the bottom of the feet.
I cannot say enough good about this product. I have tried so many different ones and nothing measures up to the versitility of this unit. It is also small and nice looking.

This is a miracle worker! I've had a bad back and neck since I was 13 and I'm 40 now. I've been through many accidents, including a head-on collision, a VW Bug that rolled 5 times, a drunk hitting me at 90mph (which gave me an NDE) and many other painful experiences. I've been to the chiropractor all my life, well since age 13, but still have serious pain. Sometimes I can't even move when I wake up in the morning and it's painful.
My neck is skinny so when I put it under my neck, the massage balls just roll around on the outside and don't get my neck. So, I just lay my neck over one of the massage balls and it does a great job. Then I just position it under my back and lay on it for a little while until I've moved it all down my back. I have the Shiatsu massager chair, however this works way better. I always say, "Thank God for Shiatsu!" and I seriously mean it. Tears of joy! It's a lifesaver for me.
If you have back or neck pain, this is the absolute best item you can buy. It will make you feel human again!
This is the first time I've written a review on anything. But, it's the least I can do to thank the makers of this awesome invention. I honestly don't know what I'd do without it!
