I own both this pillow and the fancy homedics top of the line chair that sells for $200. In my opinion the pillow is better than the chair cover. Save the $150, get the pillow and get a great massage. The reason that I like the pillow is because you can move it around and adjust it to just the right place. The chair you kind of just have to try and adjust your body to it. As a small woman neither have the perfect distance between massagers set for me, but the pillow I can easiy just move one massager over to the right spot. It can also be placed where you can use it on your neck as well. Very versatile product... This massager is worth it's weight in GOLD. I have Fibromyalgia/CFS and this massager is heaven on those back muscles that keep tightening up. I was a Nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist/Private Practice Owner before FIBRO changed all that. I know a good massage and i've tried a bunch of massagers and this IS THE BEST. As far as intensity and precision, this machine gets right in the rhomboids (between shoulder blades) and at Levator Scapula insertion point on border. Awesome. Gets in there well and the heat is phenomenal. Son left plugged in unfortunately and shorted it out. Just watch for that. Get this massager!!! The Shiatsu pillow I have is terrific. There are no tears
and I use it in all different ways. When I go to sleep
at night I place the shiatsu outside the covers by my
head and let my hands be massaged. I would not like to
be without it and believe if this one broke down I would
have to buy another one. I am now terribly spoiled.While
lying on my back I also use it to massage my heart
and lungs; placing it upside down.You can use it on your
feet, your knees, your arms; almost anywhere you want to
loosen up. I think the trick to keep it from tearing
is not to place undue pressure on it like sitting on it.

i just bought this item and its really great! i decided to invest in something cheaper and smaller than a massage chair/pad. after looking for reviews throughout the internet i was convinced. its small (easy to store and move around), extremely soft (velvet like) and really gives a great deep massage. ive tried other similar massagers but this ones definitely the best by far. most others were loud and uncomfortable. you can position it to massage almost any part of your body. works well flipped upside-down too. great on the back (upper and lower) and amazing for the shoulders/neck. i use it sitting on my couch and laying down. i definitely recommend it!Customer Review: AWESOME!!!!!

This was a Christmas gift from my daughter. I've tried everything out there for my missing disc (crushed nerve root L5-S1) and 3 bulging discs from Ankylosing Spondylitis, DDD and OA. This is NOT one of those funky vibrating pillows. It has very solid balls that rotate over the area you place it on. Sits perfectly against the lumbar in my office chair but I have also used it on neck, bulging disc at T3, and on my arthritic hands. Whatever having it with the additional heat costs - pay it! It is just the right temp and you can feel it through clothes. If I were rich, I'd hand these things out at my monthly Pain Clinic appointment! Can you tell I love it!!!
