Customer Reviews of Imak Computer Glove - EACHCustomer Review: Good, but the wrist rest is better Summary: 3 Stars
I like the glove when I am sitting back with my wireless keyboard on my lap and a little table next to me, however, I found their wristrest product more comfortable when I am sitting at my desk. It cradles my wrist better and more comfortably. The glove doesn't allow the beads to move around my wrist as well. They are packed a little tighter. The drawback to the wristrest is that it's always falling off the edge of my desk or if I have it on any inclining keyboard/mouse tray. I used to use a gel rest but I am totally hooked on the ergo beads. I have them at home AND work. No matter which ergo bead product you use, you will never go back to anything else!
Customer Review: Exactly what the doctor ordered Summary: 5 Stars
I've been having many problems with my arm lately because of the position I have been using at my office for the past 4 months. When I moved offices I had to adopt a drastically different posture when using my computer, and since I am a computer programmer this had a great impact into my arms ability to function right. I noticed for an entire week that my arm hurt and kept hurting more. I saw my primary care physician and he recommended I get a glove. Picked one up at Office Depot to try it out and ended up liking it so much that I'm here on Amazon to get another for my other hand (they're reversible and are very comfortable).
Customer Review: replaced my gel mousepad Summary: 5 Stars
I don't have carpel tunnel, rather I bought this because my gel mouse pad was falling apart. I decided to get this for my hand that is on the mouse because it has a gel insert under the wrist and takes up less space than having a mouse pad on my computer slide out drawer. I use it when I'm on the PC. I like it so much that I am ordering another one for the other hand so that when I'm on my laptop my wrists can comfortably rest on the top of the laptop. Just flip it inside out and it is reversible for the other hand. This is not a wrist brace, it is mainly just a gel pad for your wrist which is perfect for my needs.
Customer Review: Extremely Satisfied Summary: 5 Stars
I do a lot of typing at work and I use my computer at home for hours on end. I started to have a very strong pain in my right wrist. It got so bad that I would have to stop using my mouse at home. As soon as I started using this computer glove, the pain went away. I've been using it for about six months and my wrist feels great. I can now type and use a mouse for hours & hours without feeling any pain. I'm using it now as I type up this review! I think the instructions say that it must be hand washed & left out to dry, but I've use a regular washing machine & dryer and it has held up fine so far.
Customer Review: No Pain No More Summary: 5 Stars
I was skeptical when i opened the package i was expecting to see something more firm and stiff ... i did not think it would work. But i tired it out and in the 1 month i have been using the glove i have not felt that pain in my hand at all.
I also really love that the glove protects my wrist bones from callouses. I use the computer a lot and i have callouses on my wrist from using the mouse so much. I wish I had known about this glove 10 years ago. It is great just for preventing callouses even if you dont have carpal tunnel issues.
