I have wrist tendonitis and bought this brace a month ago and have used it since. Early on I learned that velcroing it each night wasn't the way to go. Doing so often left it too tight or too loose so I experimented and found that once it was properly adjusted for me, that I had the necessary support yet could slip the thing on and off without too much difficulty (certainly much less than having to fart around with the velcro and the noise that makes - "sorry, dear"!). This brace provides just the right amount of movement restriction that my issue calls for and is comfortable when doing so. Glad I bought it!Customer Review: Works for Carpel Tunnel Problems

Each spring I suffer from carpel tunnel problems that cause numbness from the elbow to my fingertips. This is caused from over use of hands in spring garden cleanup and planting. After spring when these activities decrease, I recover.
With the Pil-O-Splint I have no numbness during the night and sleep soundly. Without the Pil-O-Splint, I have painful tingling and numbness. This product works great for me.
I have 1 Pil-O-Splint with the adjustable Velcro fastener and 1 without the Velcro. I'm buying another adjustable because the other slips off during the night.

After ten years of tendonitis and acute dythesia, seemingly becoming more severe when sedentary, I am able to sleep through the night. I have had extensive physical therapy, including paraffin baths, which offered little or no alleviation of pain.
The IMAK Pil-O-Splint is something I would recommend to anyone suffering from trouble sleeping, due to wrist pain or numbness. The adjustable closure insures a proper fit, however, I cannot issue a five-star rating, because over time, there is some compaction of the foam. I'll pay 75 USD for a Swedish memory foam model!

I used to wake up during the night with numb, aching hands, even when I wore regular wrist splints. The Pil-O-Splint keeps the whole hand - including the fingers - in a neutral position. Since I've had this product, I haven't once been awakened by hand pain. My hands also feel much better in the morning, and I don't have to do painful stretches to relieve tightness. The Pil-O-Splint is very soft and comfortable, which is another huge difference from other splints. There's no harsh velcro, straps or metal to scratch you or your spouse during the night. I heard about this splint from a motorcycle cop who had hand pain from gripping all daY. This splint opens up the hand in a comfortable position to allow the writ muscles to stretch out overnight.
My hand pain comes from years of overuse as a photographer and guitar player,.
My massage therapist pointed out that my left hand was curled up when in a relaxed position because the muscles were constricted. This splint corrected that in just one use.
It is comfortable and cool enough to wear in summer.
