Customer Reviews of Instant Heat Hot Brush, 1 1/4-InchCustomer Review: Gives good volume Summary: 4 Stars
I'll have to say I really like this brush! I honestly tried the InStyler before and wasn't as easy to use as this brush. I have a long, straight and thick hair. What I like about it is that it heats up fast, it has different heat settings ( I usually use it on 20), and it doesn't pull my hair. If I just washed my hair I blow dry it a little bit and then use the brush to curl my ends. Because my hair is straight I have to use a little hair spray to make it last longer. I read before someone had trouble with tangling?! This is my first hot hair brush and I have no experience with it and no problem! If it does happen to tangle a little I haven't have any problems unrolling it! So with this brush you can make some waves, loose curls and straighten your hair (not like a flat iron though)! Another great thing the cord is long enough and doesn't tangle either and it doesn't burn your hair.
One thing I don't like it doesn't leave your hair nice and smooth, so it makes your hair look a little freeze. What I usually do is I just put on any hair product first like leave-in conditioner and in my case a little hair spray on the bottom of my hair. So if you want something to give volume to your hair this is your brush!
Customer Review: Good iron for the price! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the second of this same curling iron that I've bought on Amazon. The first one, over a year old, still works fine, but I wanted to buy another one just in case Conair stops making them! I find the brush style curling iron much easier to use than the clampy kind! Also there aren't too many brush style that heat up like the clamp ones - most are forced hot air.
Anyway, this isn't a fancy iron, but in my experience works just as well as the more expensive ones. I love the array of heat settings, and it heats up very quickly. I have shoulder length wavy hair that often frizzes. With the 1 1/4" barrel, I can smooth and somewhat straighten, or curl it even more. The tip stays cool, which is good, 'cos I sometimes still manage to burn myself on the iron itself if I'm not careful!
Customer Review: The Best Ever Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using this model hot brush for at least 20 years and have never found another tool that is as good. I have shoulder length wavy hair with great volume and texture, but will frizz if not done properly. First I blow dry my hair with a brush and then use the Conair Instant Heat Hot Brush to quickly smooth and turn the ends under, still leaving my hair bouncy, not flat. It is so much quicker than using a blow dryer and brush to do this. It is also great for touch ups. So inexpensive compared to what it does for my hair. For years I looked for a replacement for my old Conair in retail stores and finally found it online. I'm so attached to it that I bought two, afraid it will disappear again.
Customer Review: A great purchase ! Summary: 5 Stars
I have always used a hot air brush which takes a while with my hair. I would actually blow dry my hair almost dry with a blow dryer then use the hot air brush to finish the style. This took a
long time. With the Conair Instant Heat Hot Brush, I blow dry my hair completely and finish with the Hot Brush. This not only is faster but my hair is smoother and silker than ever before. I should also mention that I have colored and hi-lighted hair so you can imagine how easily my hair can be damaged, but it now looks healthier than ever before. I suppose not so much hot hair drying it out. I highly recommend this product.
Customer Review: not so hot Summary: 1 Stars
I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
i have been a professional stylists for many, many years. "time is money" and i dont want to spend my time nor my money on a product that is less than adequit for the job. this iron was NOT hot enough to do the job...fine hair, course hair, it didnt matter. i have a great curling brush that is perfect for the job, however, the bristles have "cooked" over the years and i havent been able to find the same product again. just going to have to keep looking but i can assure you that i wont order from the west coast again. it cost me $9.70 to return it and the iron was only $22.57.
