the mask looks okay and decent. i bought it for photography use purpose, NOT to protect me from the harmful gasses. If you want to buy a mask for protection purpose i recommend you to spend a little more money on a good one. I'm sure your life doesn't worth [...] bucks, right?
I put it one and fit okay, but each time after putting it on i feel a little dizzy in my brain, don't know why.
For photography or fun, it is a good price.
I personally won't trust this for safety purpose. plus a gas mask only good 10 10 years. because after 10 years the rubber may not as strong as a new one and the one that they sell is about 8 years old so... you guys make the call if it is good for safety.
Description of Israeli Gas MAsk (military M-15)
This is the gas mask issued to Israeli Defense Force soldiers. It is similar to the civilian model (see our other ad), but with larger eye openings, eyepiece vents to prevent fogging, and a water intake port to allow drinking from a canteen. (drinking straw is included, but not canteen cap.) It has full NBC (neuclear, biological, chemical) protection, and comes with one sealed filter. Mask is new, unissued cond. Also good to have around for protection against smoke, paint spray, grinding dust, etc. These are the same masks that some were selling for $200-300 after 9/11. Note: U.S. sales only, no exports. Please note that since we have no means of testing, or data from Israeli manufacturer, we cannot guaranty degree of protection, against all possible sources of contamination, or how long filter will last under various conditions (denser contamination means less time). we can only guaranty that mask and filter are brand new.Masks & Respirators
