I've been taking this product for a while now, I think it's working to balance things. However, buyers should be aware that it does not ship refrigerated. I contacted the seller and received this response:
"Thank you for contacting us. Fem-Dolphilus is kept refrigerated at our warehouse. Unfortunately we do not offer cold shipping of this productat this time. The product has a shelf life of 1 week unrefrigerated. It should be alright while in transit. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions."
Other sources say that the efficacy of this probiotic declines over 1-3 days, depending on the temperature. Most companies ship with cold packs. So hopefully this batch is still ok.

I've suffered from urinary tract infections for about 5 years now. Each month I would have at least 4 excruciating painful episodes. I went to several different doctors and after 4 years of looking for a cause with no results, I decided to change doctors. My new urologist prescribed me with some prophylactic antibiotics fo a month and told me to have a probiotic yogurt per day that contained the lactobacillus, after a few weeks of the "yogurt" therapy I noticed the difference so I started to look for a more practical solution. I found it in these pills. I've been using them for a year now and I'm happy to report that I've had no infection during treatment... so great pills ... highly recommend them.Customer Review: After years of pain and agony, I finally found Relief! I have struggled with BV, pain with intercourse and Yeast Infections for years now. I truly believe the infections are hormone related. It's a cycle each month...where the BV/Yeast/Pain with Intercourse play out. I ordered this product as I have ordered many with the hope for some sort of relief. Well I have been on this for the past few months and let me tell you, it's been my saving grace. I take two in the morning and one in the afternoon. It has worked for me. It didn't totally 100% take away the bv, but it has lessened it 80%. I'll take it. I do refrigerate as I believe this helps. My daughter (9) has had chronic urinary tract infections since she was 5 years old. She has had to be on low dosage antibiotics for the last four years to keep the infections from recurring. When we would stop the antibiotics, she would nearly immediately develop another bladder infection. We have been to all sorts of specialists to no avail. We began taking the Fem-Dophilus three months ago and have now been off antibiotics for six weeks without a bladder infection - which has not happened ever within the last four years. These probiotics seem to have fixed her problem. I highly recommend anyone having chronic urinary tract infections to give these a try.Customer Review: Excellant!

I have been suffering from reoccurring yeast and BV infections for the last 2 years. My doctor could not explain why I was plagued with this problem her resolution was to keep writing prescriptions. I eventually began searching the web for alternative treatment and preventive measures when I stumbled on this wonderful product. I had begun showing signs of another dreadful yeast infection when I began taking these capsules. Instead of taking one I took two and within two days all signs of a yeast infection were gone. Needless to say I have been taking them ever since and I have not had any issues :)
