This is a great mirror but a couple things to note. As one reviewer mentioned its not as bright as I would have liked. I mounted it in my bathroom next to my sick so I have the lighting over my vanity which helps when putting on makeup. I made sure I mounted the mirror a little lower then face level so as to not block the light. I have to tilt the mirror slightly to see, but that's all I needed to do for nice illumination. The 2 pack Jerdon replacement bulbs I purchase with the mirror from Amazon are not rated for this mirror. They are 25W and this mirror is only rated for 15W... which is probably why its so dim. When I purchased the mirror I couldn't find any info on the wattage in the product description. I took the chance that the Jerdon bulbs would fit the Jerdon mirror and they don't. Other then that, I really like the mirror. My husband had no problem with the install and it seems very sturdy. I would recommend this mirror if mounted near another light source.
