Customer Review: Works but flimsey.

I purchased this mirror thinking it would be the exact same mirror I purchased a few years ago. The quality was not the same.
I noticed the side hinges on the new mirror were looser. The mirror barely holds it's position. It is also a lot lighter than the older version. Other than being cheeply made, it does do the job, mirror is not distorted and folds nicely for travel.

This would be a fine mirror to use for travel, but it is so small, and magnified so much that you can only see an eye or a mouth at one time. You have to hold it in your hand to use and not being lighted is a handicap as well.Customer Review: Travel Folding Mirror

This mirror arrived in perfect condition. Whatever position you put it into, it holds without a problem.
The 7x magnification is more than I need, other than that this mirror is excellent.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It is heavy/substantial not the flimsy little mirrors I saw in local stores, but not too heavy to pack for a trip. It is a real quality product.
