Summary: 5 Stars
Why would I review a product that I've used nearly every day for most of my life? Simple. I wanted to compare the price here in the amazoo to what I pay at my local drugstore. Lo and behold, I can save a few cents on the purchase, but the shipping cost devours the saving. Big surprise.
But I note, in the previous reviews, that I'm not the only one who uses this stuff deliberately in his eyes. In my case, it's a habit with which I'm comfortable, but others report having been advised to wash their eyes with 'baby shampoo' for hygiene. Who knows, really, what it's worth. Probably my eyelash mites have evolved a tolerance for it, if not a taste.
As for my hair, well, it's hardly worth mentioning.
While I'm here, however, I might as well comment on ingredients: water, cocoamidopropyl betaine, PEG-80 Sorbitan laurate, sodium trideceth sulfate, PEG-150 distearate, and traces of a few others. All the same ingredients (though some with studied variations in designation) are included in my charming wife's radically more expensive shampoo of choice. Hers has a longer list of trace ingredients, including ginger and castor oil. Does this suggest a familiar scenario in your household, also?
