I live in IL and I purchased my flatiron about 3 years ago and it finally quit working a couple days ago. I was told that if and when it ever quits working you can do an even exchange at no cost. A friend of mine has the same flatiron and when hers had quit we exchanged it and there were no questions asked. She was just given a new one. At that time we had to drive about an hour and a half farther than where they were purchased because the mall we had purchased them at no longer had the jose eber kiosk. I just called the place where we had gone for the previous exchange and that mall no longer carries jose eber either. So now I am not sure what to do since I cannot find another store. I loved the flat iron and did not want to switch brands but I think it is pretty awful to have a lifetime warranty on a product and then not have a store around to exchange it in!
