My wife and I purchased this to try it out after seeing the commercials on TV. As it turns out, it is a very poor lubricant.
First off, as I read from other reviews and experienced myself, the bottles themselves are fairly poorly designed. They leak, pretty easily, and I ended up with lubricant over everything in my drawer. It is pretty annoying to spend $20 on a product to lose half of it to the drawer.
The male lubricant, in the blue tube, is a fairly normal basic water lubricant. It is kind of grainy, which I believe is used to try to increase friction (for her pleasure). The grainyness makes it feel like a poor lubricant, and I can not say it works as well as other lubricants, quickly drying out and needing to be reapplied. Of course, that is why it is suppose to be combined with the female lubricant.
The female lubricant in the pink tube is a thicker lubricant, which is basically diluted bengay. For those of you that don't know, bengay is used for muscle relaxation by first feeling cold, then hot. So that is the incredible feeling it boasts that you feel. If you don't believe me, smell it, then smell a tube of Bengay or IcyHot, any resemblance?
Together, the blue tube adds a cool, slippery, slightly grainy feeling for her, while the pink tube creates a thicker feeling for him while adding the heat and cold feelings for both, but not tingly in any sense of the word.
In concept, it may be enjoyable for someone interested in a slightly different feeling during sex. However, my wife found the lubricant uncomfortable with it's temperature fluctuations, which may or may not be enjoyable depending on your tastes. It doesn't drastically alter sex, increase sensitivity, or make it better, it just makes a weird cool hot feeling while trying to stimulate each other.
On top of that, the price is expensive, when you could accomplish the same by purchasing simple water lubricant and some bengay and mixing a little with the lube. Although, I wouldn't recommend it, I am sure that is not doctor approved. I worry about the safety of using it, since bengay has been attached to bone loss and other problems, I worry that this may have some potential hazards for someone who would use it heavily, especially when trying to conceive. I have to assume it is doctor approved, but I wonder if this kind of stuff is monitored as heavily as, say, food. So it gets two stars, because it doesn't do much, it is not revolutionary, and long term use of this stuff could even potentially be dangerous.
